In towards an European Union policy for regularization? Stéphanie Lallier shows that immigration is one of the most important issues that has to be tackled in the European Union. All the borders of the European Union are facing illegal border crossing, however it is important to realize that the problems within the area of asylum and immigrations are very diverse between the northern and the southern border countries.
