Mother has very little say in the matter being the loyal and submissive wife she is. More surprises after the new baby arrives. There are no names mention in this book other than Don/Dawn. There is Father, Mother, Grandfather, Sister, Doctor, Nurse, Child at school, Neighbors, and Grandmother who plays a very large roll in the lives of Don/Dawn and Mother.
