Excerpt from Hunterian Lectures on the Development and Transition of the Testis: Normal and Abnormal This book is a reprint of Lectures which have already appeared in the Journal of Anatomy and Physiology, and which, as Hunterian Professor, I had the honour to deliver in March 1887 at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. No alteration has been made in them, except that a few clerical errors have been corrected. I have to tender my thanks to the Editors of the Journal of Anatomy and Physiology for their liberality in piiblishing and illustrating these investigations.
