The use of stem cells for research, whether from children, adults, aborted fetuses, or embryos, must be done under conditions of the most rigorous integrity for several reasons. The use of adult stem cell requires the same conditions as those required in the case of tissue donation, based on respect for the integrity of the human body and the free and informed consent of the donor.
