The Rapture of Trauma is a fictitious narrative of Daniel Farrell growing up in the 1930's to his teen years, believing he is a white American. On the brink of graduating from high school he is informed he is a Negro and is given the choice to live out the balance of his life in the life- style of his father's family in which he had grown up or to pursue the life style of his mother's family with which he had had little contact.
