However, employees tend to resist change implementation, even though the change represents growth and development and leads to greater efficiency and productivity. Therefore, undoubtedly, employees resistance to change is a key topic in change management and should be seriously considered to help the organization to benefit from the transformation. So understanding, describing and analyzing the root causes and symptoms of employees resistance to change enables to design a framework to implement change programs more successfully. Thus, this thesis tried to investigate the causes and ways of overcoming employees resistance to change in Ethio Telecom. It mainly contains five broad chapters such as: Introduction, Review of related literature, Methodology, Data Presentation and analysis and major findings and conclusions. Both primary and secondary data and also descriptive as well as inferential statistics were used in the study.
