In this book, emerging long-term trends in the world economy are analysed to show their effect on the economic position of women in developing countries. Stressing the interlinkages between the macro and micro levels of the economy, the book approaches the subject from the perspective of both wage earning women and those in roles of unpaid labour such as housework and farmwork.
