Introduction: Tumor infiltration by lymphocytes (TILs) is a prognostic factor. The aim of our study is to determine the correlation between tumor lymphocyte infiltration and various clinicopathological factors and to evaluate its impact on recurrence-free survival. Patients and methods: This is a monocentric and retrospective study of 93 consecutive patients treated in the adjuvant setting for non-metastatic breast cancer at the Hôpital Militaire Principal d'Instruction de Tunis (HMPIT) between 2011 and 2018. Lymphocyte infiltration was quantified for each and survival times were calculated by the Kaplan-Meier method. Results: TILs were significantly associated with negative hormone receptor status, young age, high proliferation index and high SBR grades (2-3) . For the survival of the cohort, the importance of TILs was not statistically related to SRH and OS but there was a trend towards better survival with high proportions of TILs. Conclusion: . High proportions of TILs seem to have a positive impact on survival.
