Book synopsis

Amon is a black angel sent to a white family in distress. Amon has his work cut out for him in the form of Harry Stewart, the patriarch of the family, whose heritage includes many generations of prejudices. Harry and Beverly Stewart have raised Bonnie as their own child since her mother abandoned her at a very young age. Bonnie, now a teenager, has created some new issues in this otherwise quiet household by breaking away from their acceptance of racism.
