The author was a staff person at Sheldon Jackson, the Alaskan Christian school that has sent out acclimated scholars since 1878. Most were graduates but others merely salted their education with a year or two at Sheldon Jackson. Other authors may tell of the history and philosophy of the school. I prefer to merely mention incidents, persons or things that constitute the touchstone of Parables.
