Book synopsis

Jan awakes in the hospital and knows that she is alive. She has no memory of the past, and no knowledge of who she is. She knows she is hurt, unable to see. Whatever happened it has almost cost her her life. Rob comes to visit and seems to know more about her and her condition than he will tell her. There seems to be something familiar about his voice but Jan is not willing to trust anyone yet. Later she receives another visitor. Quietly, and slowly he moves across the room in silence. Jan waits with eyes closed to see what this new stranger will do. He seems to exude more of a caring and familiar tone within Jan. This stranger helps her to discover that she was an agent within an secretive government group. Something doesn't fit yet as Ward he remains a in the shadows for everyone else not allowing anyone to but her to know he is there.
