Leadership has been a questionable phenomenon for centuries. The Eurocrisis triggered debates over leadership within the European Union. This work analyzes the Federal Republic of Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel's leadership profile during the Eurocrisis. Throughout this book, the Eurocrisis is discussed by use of chaos theory borrowed from physics and redefined as a chaotic system. From this perspective, Chancellor Angela Merkel's leadership profile is going to be analyzed within three time phases during the Eurocrisis period between 2009 and 2013 with four types of leadership. In terms of structure and theoretical perspective, this work makes a unique contribution to the prevailing literature.
