This book provides a comprehensive introduction to public health from a pharmacy perspective. Organized into three main sections, Part I presents concepts and issues that pharmacists need in order to develop a knowledge base in public health. Part II examines the connection between pharmacy and public health services, including an overview of the different health services, evaluation and outcome assessment, financing, managed care pharmacy, and pharmacoeconomics.
