Eine Achterbahnfahrt der Emotionen: zweites Album der amerikanischen Künstlerin. Zwei Jahre nach ihrem Umzug nach Berlin und der Veröffentlichung ihres Debüts für Chicks On Speed Records "Bitches Without Britches" meldet sich die amerikanische Allroundkünstlerin Kevin Blechdom 2005 mit einem neuen Album zurück. "Eat My Heart Out" ist eine musikalische Achterbahnfahrt der Emotionen, ein waghalsiges Looping kontrastierender Stile, Überraschungen und von Herzschmerz. Kevin Blechdom singt Popsongs und Liebeslieder, singt ihre eigene musikalische Biografie und trägt dabei ihr Herz auf Brust und Zunge. Schmerz und Leidenschaft sitzen tief und wollen raus, die Songs hingegen sind sehr fragmentarisch und werden mit der Musik (Elektro-Clash, Shantys, Country, Pop, Kirmes) wie Legosteine zusammengebaut. Die CD erscheint als enhanced CD mit dem 13-minütigen surrealen Kurzfilm "Countdown To Nothing" von Lucile Desamory und Kevin Blechdom.
