Die Künstlerin Cony Theis führt auf Einladung des LVR Rheinland im partizipatorisch angelegten Projekt Gefangene Geheimnisse ihre Untersuchungen zur Ausweitung des Porträts fort. Ziel ist es, Patienten im Maßregelvollzug forensische Patienten in speziellen Kliniken, die aufgrund einer psychischen oder Suchterkrankung straffällig geworden, jedoch nicht oder nur eingeschränkt schuldfähig sind in anderer Weise, als wir es weithin gewohnt sind, darzustellen.§Die inhaltlichen Schwerpunkte des künstlerischen Konzepts und dieser Publikation sind (Selbst)Porträt und Geheimnis sowie die Auseinandersetzung der Teilnehmer mit den eigenen Biografien.
