David and Billy's wonderful adventures continue in unforeseen exotic places at unexpected times. They meet many, very different characters who cause them to have a great deal of fun, and a little anxiety, throughout. There are times when they aren't sure whether they will return to a normal life at all. Furtive and Fearless, too, meet new creatures and make both friends and enemies in equal measures.
