Gambling is becoming one of the leisure activities enjoyed by adolescents and adults. However, most of those who do so, experience few problems related to gambling. Though the history of gambling is traced back to ancient civilizations of Egypt and Chinese, there was concern over the excessive gambling. In this manual the author wants to express that all the ideas written in this work are free from author's personal biases about the moral, ethical, religious and other issues related to gambling. The critics are only based up on the empirical literature and evidences available on the theme. So, the critics are only intended to provide the researchers, social workers, adolescents and families of adolescents the broad evidences in the area of gambling issues. Therefore, the author would assert that the argument in this paper is neither supporting nor opposing the gambling related issues.
