Las grandes líneas de "Cuidados de enfermería en la maternidad, infancia y adolescencia" van orientadas al conocimiento y adquisición de habilidades para proporcionar los cuidados de enfermería en dos momentos singulares del ciclo vital del ser humano: la preparación y vivencia de la maternidad, y el crecimiento y desarrollo del individuo desde su nacimiento hasta la adolescencia. Estas etapas tienen una imbricación directa y recíproca, tanto desde el punto de vista biológico como psicosocial, y tienen asimismo gran dependencia con el entorno. Es indispensable tener esto en cuenta para poder desarrollar cuidados de enfermería de calidad. El contenido se presenta en módulos, que incluyen los objetivos de aprendizaje, los contenidos teóricos, las actividades complementarias del alumno a realizar en el aula o como trabajo autónomo, preguntas para la autoevaluación, y la bibliografía relevante y que el alumno tiene a su disposición en la Biblioteca Universitaria o en la red. Abstract Cuidados de enfermería en la maternidad, infancia y adolescencia is oriented to the knowledge and acquisition of the necessary abilities to provide nursing care in two singular moments of the human life cycle: the preparation and experience of maternity, and the growth and development of the individual from his birth through adolescence. These stages have a direct and reciprocal interweaving and a great dependency on the environment as well. It is indispensable to take this into account in order to develop quality nursing care. The content is presented in modules, which include the learning objectives, the theoretical contents, complementary activities for the student to work either in class or autonomously, self-assessment questions, and the relevant bibliography available for the student at the University Library or in the network.
