The entire twentieth century authentically documents the kaleidoscopic phase of literary interpretation. The large number of literary theories that have emerged till the 1970s view literature in terms of their ideology: some reject the author and accept the text; some accept both while some of them bring the reader in consideration in the act of literary interpretation.
