Kristina Spalding holds a bachelors degree in paralegal studies, works for a community college and has volunteered for the "City of Readers" program for more than six years. Mother, May I? is based on Judy and Kristina's life experiences, the things they've learned from each other, and the things they've learned from other mother/daughter relationships. All of the stories are true.
